Kohler is offering a series of virtual continuing education courses to help you expand your capabilities and stay on top of emerging trends.
All four courses will be led by Amy Hampton-Davies, Senior Sales and Marketing Manager for KOHLER® Signature Stores/KOHLER Experience Centers. Ms. Hampton-Davies has more than 20 years of experience in kitchen and bathroom design, including extensive experience in luxury home renovations, showroom and store projects and creating partnerships within the design community.
Each session lasts one hour and will be offered at two different times. Registration is limited to 200 attendees. All attendees will also receive a special gift from Kohler following the session. Details and registration links for all four courses are listed below.
SPA-INSPIRED SHOWER SOLUTIONS
April 2, 2020 | 12pm & 3pm ET
This course will discuss how the latest in custom shower technology and design can deliver an experience and sense of relaxation that was previously only available from a bathtub. From integrated steam and lighting to independent sprayheads, we’ll cover the range of options available, the health benefits of hydrotherapy and considerations when designing a custom shower space.
LUXURY FOR THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOM
April 9, 2020 | 12pm & 3pm ET
This course will provide inspiration and an overview of kitchen and bathroom solutions designed for the luxury consumer. We’ll discuss perceptions of luxury among affluent consumers and how manufacturers are responding to these consumers’ expectations of style and functionality. We will also highlight examples of how these solutions provide the lifestyle experience that consumers are seeking.
TECHNOLOGY AND THE IDEAL STYLING SPACE
April 16, 2020 | 12pm & 3pm ET
This course will discuss the bathroom’s role as both grooming station and refuge in today’s homes and hotels. We’ll cover how the bathroom can be designed to make daily routines more intuitive and provide more joy for their occupants. This course will address lighting considerations and technological innovations that can help create an ideal styling space.
LET’S TALK TRENDS: MODERN IDEAS REFLECTING DESIGN TRENDS IN COLOR AND MORE
April 23, 2020 | 12pm & 3pm ET
This course will explore the origin and evolution of trends in design through a lens of broader cultural dynamics. We’ll touch on emerging insights in kitchen and bathroom design and new ways of living that are driving some of these trends. Finally, we’ll also discuss the different expressions of modernist design, from minimalism to maximalism.
